The FAN Charity recently had more than 160 FAN Friends and Supporters take part in their celebration at the Temple of Peace, Cardiff. Our Trustee @C3SC Sarah Duncan-Jones manages the charity and noted its success.
Taking place on Saturday 29th April, the event was described as being full of joy. Their speakers Zahra, Martha, Ian (FAN Chair) and Gill (FAN Founder) spoke of the difference that being part of FAN had made to their lives and the special connections made in FAN with people across South Wales and across the world. Friends from 32 different countries attended, their ages ranging from 4 to 98! This included people who had come to the first FAN Group in Grangetown and those who have just joined. The FAN Charity gives particular thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund Awards for all of their support. Here’s to the next 20 years.
