St Teilo’s BTEC Level 2 Pupils – 1-week work experience placement – w/c 25th November

We are now looking for a wide range of organisations to support work experience placements for the next cohort of BTEC Level 2 pupils who are starting in September. Please see below the details:

When: 25th November – 29th November (Monday – Friday)

Time: 9am- 3pm (school day)

Age of pupil: 16

School of pupil: St Teilo’s CiW High School

While there are no specific requirements of the BTEC Level 2 course for work experience, the school have outlined the below for the pupils:

  • To undertake a range of activities whilst on the placement
  • To have an insight into the daily routines of someone working in the place of work
  • To have some basic training for some of the skills required of a successful applicant
  • To build the confidence of the learner

As we do not know the interests of the pupils yet, at this time we are generating interest from companies who are able to support a weeklong placement (working week) during this time. Once we have the forms back from the pupils in September we can then match the placement depending on the information we receive.

If you would like to discuss any of the above, please do not hesitate to call 02920 788565
