Macmillan CARE Grants – Funding Community-Led Cancer Care Projects

Macmillan Cancer Support has launched the CARE Grants Programme (Culture • Agency • Respect • Equity), a new pilot fund to support community-led projects that improve cancer care and address health inequalities. The programme recognises the vital role of voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations in shaping inclusive, person-centred cancer support.

Grants will support projects focused on:

Improving culturally responsive cancer care
Supporting shared decision-making in care
Developing dementia-friendly cancer care

Up to £1.5 million is available in this first round, with grants ranging from £50,000 to £150,000. The fund is open to VCFSE organisations across the UK and closes on 23 January 2026.
