Community Building Grants – Cardiff
Community and voluntary groups across Cardiff can apply for up to £10,000 in grant funding to improve their community buildings. Funded by the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, the scheme supports projects that enhance accessibility, security, energy efficiency, and facilities.
Eligible buildings include community halls, centres, and other publicly accessible spaces. Applications from buildings in deprived areas or serving large numbers from these communities will be prioritised.
Grants can be used for structural improvements, fire safety upgrades, new windows and doors, toilet facilities, and electrical systems. However, funding cannot be used for routine maintenance, staffing, or completed projects.
