Maria Arambarri is the winner for Volunteering-Wales Most Active Volunteer at the Cardiff Volunteer Awards 2025!
Maria first began as a volunteer in autumn 2024, supporting as an event volunteer at the Minority Ethnic Communities (MEC) Health Fair to welcome attendees and help them navigate the venue through helpful guidance and community language support. With a background in website engineering, Maria has since extended her volunteering to supporting C3SC with developing and improving the website and membership directory after C3SC matched her skills and interest with the role. Maria is patient and attentive, and always willing to help as well as provide useful guidance into how the user experience can be improved and how information can be simplified as part of that process.
In the last year, Maria has logged over 65 hours of volunteering on the Volunteering-Wales portal which concluded her win at this year’s Cardiff Volunteer Awards, and C3SC would like to take the time to congratulate Maria on this milestone, and for her support into our digital solutions that no doubt, will directly support so many of our members and stakeholders at C3SC.
