The Codi Trust Microgrant Scheme is a small grants programme designed to support grassroots community groups, charities, and local initiatives across Wales.

 

About the fund

The Codi Trust Microgrant Scheme provides small, flexible grants to help communities deliver practical, local projects that make a positive difference. The aim is to keep the application process as simple and accessible as possible, particularly for smaller or volunteer-led groups.

 

What is funded:

 

The grant will support projects that:

  • Strengthen local communities and social connections
  • Support wellbeing, inclusion, or reduce isolation
  • Enable community-led activities, events, or services
  • Help groups test new ideas or respond to local needs

 

Applications are welcome from:

  • Community groups and associations
  • Charities and voluntary organisations
  • Informal or newly formed groups

 

Grant size

Microgrants are typically small awards intended to get projects started or to support short-term activities.

 

The next funding round opens on May 5th at 10am, applications are submitted through the Codi Trust – Codi webpage and the link will be available from the opening date.
