Age Connects Wales has organised an Older Persons Day Event, taking place at the Senedd on the 30th September (6pm – 8pm).
The theme of the event is “On Your Doorstep”, looking at the support available within our local communities and the difference community-based services can make to older people and carers.
During the event the Older People’s Commissioner will be hosting a lived experience panel, there will be contributions around dementia and carers, and a Dementia Choir will be performing.
Most importantly older people and carers themselves will be there and will be central to the event.
