Cardiff Council is inviting residents, businesses and stakeholders to have their say in a major public consultation exploring potential measures to help fund future improvements to the city’s transport network.
The consultation will run for more than 12 weeks from 5 October 2026 until 17 January 2027 and will seek views on a range of options that could help fund improvements to public transport and tackle congestion across the city.
Creating a modern, reliable and accessible transport network is a key part of Cardiff’s long-term ambitions for sustainable growth. The Council’s 10-year Transport Strategy sets out plans to improve public transport, reduce congestion and support economic development. Delivering these improvements, however, will require significant long-term investment.
