Last year, Elin Arfon won the Young Volunteer of the Year award at the Cardiff Volunteer Awards 2021!
We asked Elin some questions to find out – Where are they now?
Are you still volunteering as a Mentor and how has your volunteering changed over the last year?
“Yes, I am still volunteering as a mentor at Llamau and I am really enjoying it. My mentee and I continue to participate in many activities across Cardiff.”
Where do you display your award?
“On my window for all to see!!”
What do you hope for your volunteering in the future?
“For my mentee and I to continue spending time together discovering the Cardiff area!”
On winning the award, Elin told us:
“I feel so honoured to have won the award, and so grateful to everyone at Llamau for their continuous support – diolch yn fawr!”.
