Wales National Travel Survey: Preliminary 6-month data

Transport for Wales has published headline data from the first six months data collection from the Wales National Travel Survey (March to August 2025). To access the data follow the link here

 

The data includes the following three analysis reports, along with accompanying data tables:

 

  • Travel Attitudes
  • Travel Behaviors
  • Factors that would encourage modal shift to sustainable travel modes

 

The published data includes:

 

  • Main mode share and multimodal journeys
  • Average distance travelled
  • Journey purposes
  • Satisfaction by transport modes
  • Factors that would encourage use/further use of certain modes of transport

 

We will be holding where we will be presenting the data.
