Time to Talk Public Health – November 2024 Survey Findings
Public Health Wales has published the latest Time to Talk Public Health (TTPH) report, capturing insights from 2,091 panel members. The November survey explored key public health topics, including healthy life expectancy, awareness of health services, vaccines, and the impact of stop and search as a violence prevention approach.
Key findings include:
  • Healthy life expectancy – 58% of people rated their health as good or very good.
  • Health services awareness – 42% would contact their GP first if unsure about their condition, while 28% would visit NHS 111 Wales.
  • Vaccines – 54% had heard of RSV, but only 32% were aware of the RSV vaccine.
  • Stop and search – 40% were knowledgeable about stop and search procedures, with 44% stating they would feel scared or embarrassed if stopped.
