The Mentor Ring’s South Asian community’s presence and involvement in Wales has grown after the success of the South Asian Heritage event held on 06 August 2022. They believe showcasing South Asian Heritage through similar events should be a regular fixture in the calendar going forward.
South Asian History month occurs from July 18th – August 17th and is celebrated every year. Although England has already held several events, Wales is falling behind. The Mentor Ring are currently in the process of forming a steering group to represent all 8 countries of South Asia.
