RSV Vaccination Programme for Older Adults and Pregnant Women

Public Health Wales is raising awareness of the RSV vaccination programme, which is available for pregnant women from 28 weeks to term and adults aged 75-79 years old. Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) spreads easily and can cause serious respiratory illness, particularly in these vulnerable groups.
The free vaccine helps reduce the risk of severe illness and hospitalisation. Public Health Wales has developed a range of bilingual resources, including fact files, leaflets, posters, and digital content, to promote awareness.

Resources to support awareness efforts can be accessed via the RSV Vaccination 2024 Asset Library. (subject to registration).
