Review of variations in terms and conditions for SC employment contracts in Wales
The Welsh Institute for Health and Social Care (WIHSC), University of South Wales has been commissioned by Welsh Government to undertake a review of evidence of variation in terms and conditions for social care employment contracts in Wales.
As part of this work, we are asking providers to complete an online survey about employment terms and conditions. The survey, which is being managed by Data Cymru, has been developed following discussion with the Welsh Government and national bodies representing the public, private and third sector.
We are particularly grateful to Care Forum Wales, the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA), and the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) for their support in the development and distribution of the survey.
We would very much appreciate your participation in the survey to enable us to analyse the data in a meaningful way and provide a report to Welsh Government that allows them to develop their policies in respect of this important aspect of the delivery of health and social care.
If you provide residential services for children, you will receive a further survey in the next 7 days.

Mae Sefydliad Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru (WIHSC), Prifysgol De Cymru, wedi ei gomisiynu gan Lywodraeth Cymru i gynnal adolygiad o’r dystiolaeth am amrywiaethau yn y telerau ac amodau ar gyfer contractau cyflogaeth ym maes gofal cymdeithasol yng Nghymru.
Fel rhan o’r gwaith hwn, rydyn ni’n gofyn i ddarparwyr gwblhau arolwg ar-lein am delerau ac amodau cyflogaeth. Datblygwyd yr arolwg, sy’n cael ei reoli gan Data Cymru, yn dilyn trafodaeth gyda Llywodraeth Cymru a chyrff cenedlaethol sy’n cynrychioli’r sectorau cyhoeddus, preifat a’r trydydd sector.
Rydyn ni’n arbennig o ddiolchgar i Fforwm Gofal Cymru, Cymdeithas Gofal Cartref y Deyrnas Unedig (UKHCA), a Chyngor Gweithredu Gwirfoddol Cymru (CGGC/WCVA) am eu cefnogaeth ar gyfer datblygu a dosbarthu’r arolwg.
Byddem yn gwerthfawrogi’n fawr pe byddech yn cymryd rhan yn yr arolwg er mwyn i ni allu dadansoddi’r data mewn modd ystyrlon a pharatoi adroddiad i Lywodraeth Cymru fydd yn caniatáu iddyn nhw ddatblygu eu polisïau ar yr agwedd bwysig hon o ddarparu iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol.
Os ydych yn darparu gwasanaethau preswyl i blant byddwch yn derbyn arolwg pellach yn y 7 diwrnod nesaf.
Os gwelwch yn dda, cliciwch ar y ddolen isod i gychwyn.
