New function for promoting volunteer involving events

The events section of www.volunteering-wales.net has been enhanced, providing the opportunity for organisations to upload event activities directly onto the website and link to volunteer opportunities currently advertised on the website.

The Volunteering Wales website has in the past had the facility to advertise events but now there are some additional functions that will help you to promote your events and to recruit volunteers to help at these – and at other one off opportunities.
Up to five volunteer roles can be posted on the website in the usual way and linked to your event information.
You can also upload files such as Word documents, PDF’s and images.
You will need to be a registered organisation, so if you’re not registered please visit https://www.volunteering-wales.net/organisations/. There are just a few easy steps to follow, then you can start promoting your events!
