Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CAVUHB) is working in collaboration with Cardiff Council through Shared Prosperity funding. A total of £35,000 has been allocated for grants to fund third sector activities that encourage more people to move more and eat well within communities across Cardiff. The grant will be administered by C3SC.
The funding will support activities relating to physical activity and healthy eating which help improve health across the population.
Proposals that focus on engaging groups with specific needs or who traditionally face barriers are particularly encouraged, and during scoring additional weighting will be given to applications that focus delivery in areas of the city facing multiple deprivation.
