‘MOVE MORE, EAT WELL ’ Small Grant Fund 2022/23

The “MOVE MORE EAT WELL ” plan was launched in July 2020 with the aim of supporting and enabling more people who live and work in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan to move more and eat well so people can live healthier lives.

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CVUHB) has allocated a total of £22,500 for grants to fund third sector activities to support interventions that encourage people to move more and eat well within communities across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan; this fits with the University Health Board’s wider mission of “Caring for People, Keeping People Well” and vision that “a person’s chance of leading a healthy life should be the same wherever they live and whoever they are”.

The focus of the grant will be on supporting activities related to physical activity and healthy eating, reflecting strategic objectives for improving health across the population.
