Pedal Power Weekly Update
Pedal Power is gearing up for the festive season with exciting events and activities. Below are key updates and details for the coming weeks:
Christmas Closing
Pedal Power will close for the holidays on Saturday, 21st December and reopen on Thursday, 2nd January.
Upcoming Events
  • Cardiff Bay Reindeer Trail Launch: Happening on 30th November and 1st December from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm at Cardiff Bay. Kids can enjoy a festive treat, including a loaded hot chocolate, cake, and a custom coffee cup for just £5.
  • Spirit of the Trees Concert: On Friday, 13th December from 3:30 pm to 4:40 pm at the Pedal Power Café. Presented by the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Free and open to all.
  • Shiny Happy People Choir: A joyous event on Tuesday, 17th December from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with mince pies included.
  • Yuletide Ride & Carols: Taking place on Friday, 20th December. The ride starts at 11:00 am from Pedal Power, followed by carols and mince pies at the café.
Christmas Fundraiser Rides
This year, three fundraiser rides are planned over the holidays:
  • 27th December: Bute Park (3-4 miles).
  • 29th December: Castell Coch (~12 miles).
  • 31st December: Cardiff Bay (~8 miles).
Suggested donations vary, and pre-booking with payment is required before 21st December. For details or to book, email Gill at instructor@cardiffpedalpower.org.uk.
Other Highlights
  • Vote for Pedal Power to win £1,000 with Movement for Good’s 12 Days of Giving here.
  • Weekly free guitar recitals every Friday, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, at the café.
