Researchers at the University of South Wales in partnership with Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and the Vale of Glamorgan Council are undertaking a research project entitled, ‘Madeline’s Project: What Matters to Me When I’m Paying for Dementia Care? A Realist Evaluation of the Health and Social Care Interface’. The project focuses on understanding the process of paying for care from the service users’ perspective (people with dementia and their carers) to recommend innovations to promote well-being when planning and accessing care.

As part of the project, we would like to invite professionals from social services, third sector services, private sector services and university staff/students, who have knowledge and experience of funding dementia care, to interview. Attached is an invite which provides further information and asks volunteers interested in taking part in the research study, to contact Leanne Hadley ([email protected]) or Professor Carolyn Wallace ([email protected]).
