Earth Hour 2019 will be held on Saturday 30th March, with the international switch off taking place between 8:30-9:30pm.
One of WWF Cymru’s topline messages for this year’s campaign is protecting Welsh nature, which will cover everything from encouraging people to rewild parts of their gardens and communities to raising their voices to call for a new global deal for nature.
Good Gym are a group of runners that combine regular exercise with helping our communities and in the past they have collected litter, painted community centres and dug in at community garden centres. Their work and ethos aligns nicely with ours and I’d love to make the most of their time volunteering for us during Earth Hour.
