Free Support for NHS Hearing Aid Users Across Cardiff

Do you use NHS hearing aids, or know someone who does?

RNID (Royal National Institute for Deaf People) is offering free community-based support sessions across Cardiff to help people get the most from their NHS hearing aids.

Our friendly volunteers can provide:

  • NHS hearing aid cleaning and basic maintenance
  • Retubing and battery replacement
  • Information and advice on hearing loss and tinnitus
  • Guidance on getting the best performance from hearing aids
  • Signposting to additional local support services

No appointment is needed – simply drop in to one of our monthly sessions in Radyr, Splott, Llandaff North, Llanrumney, Ely or Pontcanna.

Hearing loss affects thousands of people across Cardiff, yet many struggle with hearing aid maintenance or are unsure where to go for support. RNID Near You services provide a welcoming local space where people can receive practical help and information free of charge.

The service is delivered by RNID in partnership with NHS Audiology Services and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

For information on locations and upcoming dates, please see the attached poster or visit RNID’s website.

Together, we can help more people stay connected, confident and hearing well in their communities.
