Led by Soroptimist International Wales South, this South Wales multi-agency resource was developed in partnership with Welsh Women’s Aid, local Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Services, and wider safeguarding, legal, justice, advice and support organisations. The work was also supported by Physical Empowerment CIC and the Women’s Institute and informed by survivors with lived experience. The guide was launched in March 2026.
Available in Welsh and English, the booklets provide clear information, practical guidance and trusted sources of support for women experiencing domestic abuse. One booklet offers general information about domestic abuse and available help, while the second provides guidance for women who may be planning to leave or who are fleeing abuse.
