Presentation by Alcoholics Anonymous
An invitation to Assembly Members and Professionals …
Mark Drakeford AM – Minister for Health and Social Services is to host a Presentation by Alcoholics Anonymous
‘Recovery for Life’
The aim is to help professionals and Assembly Members get a better understanding of Alcoholics Anonymous. One of our Key objectives is to dispel the myth that AA is in any way a ‘secret society’. While members are anonymous, the organisation is most definitely not.
Included in the agenda:
– Testimony of two professionals who have a wealth of experience dealing with suffering alcoholics, and the effect that their work with Alcoholics Anonymous has had ‘Real life’ experiences from a recovering alcoholic
– Questions and answers session
– Buffet refreshments
Alcoholics Anonymous is free and it does work. They are not allied with any religious or other body. AA exists to help suffering alcoholics recover from the illness of alcoholism.
