This comprehensive training course has been designed by Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) to empower volunteer managers, coordinators, and anyone involved in the recruitment or day-to-day management of volunteers. In today’s digital-first world, leveraging technology can streamline your processes, enhance communication, and amplify the impact of your volunteer programs.

This course will provide you with hands-on knowledge of some tools and platforms currently on the market which can support volunteer management – including a brief introduction to AI for administrative efficiency, online brokerage platforms like Volunteering-Wales for volunteer recruitment, and digital marketing tools to boost engagement. ​ By the end of the course, you will:

• Be able to identify four (4) digital tools that can supportyour work​
• Be able to understand some of the risks and benefits presented by AI programmes.​
• Be able to explain the challenges and opportunities for engaging remote volunteers in your organisation. ​

The training will be a hybrid event. In-person attendees will participate at Butetown Community Centre. Online participants will join the training via Microsoft Teams.
