The aim of this course is toenable participants to understand the purpose, rules and requirements of holding an effective Annual General Meeting. An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a formal meeting held once a year and is a legal requirement for those voluntary organisations that have company status. This meeting is also a great opportunity for you to communicate with volunteers, members, staff, funders and other key stakeholders about your key successes. This course will provide you with the formal information relating to how to structure your AGM so that you can get the most out of this annual opportunity to showcase your organisation’s achievements.
