Community Foundation Wales: Pan-Wales Grants Available

Please see below of two Wales-wide funds currently available:

Fund for Wales

Grants of between £500 – £2,000 per annum will be awarded to small, volunteer-driven community organisations whose applications aim to deliver against the following outcomes:

  • Improving people’s chances in life
    • Building stronger communities
    • Improving rural and urban environments
    • Encouraging healthier and more active people and communities
    • Preserving heritage and culture

Fund for Wales has been adapted this year and is now awarding grants for core costs as well as multi-year funding as we recognise the importance for groups to plan for the future. Eligible groups must have an income of under £100,000 and only one full-time staff member equivalent throughout the year.

Made by Sport – Clubs in Crisis Fund

A dedicated fund for community groups, third-sector organisati

ons, and sports clubs for young people working within the sport for development sector. Sport for development is defined as the intentional use of sport to achieve wider social outcomes such as those listed below.

We will only be able to fund organisations which work towards one or more of these outcomes:

  • Developing Life Skills
  • Improving Mental Health
  • Reducing Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour
  • Developing Employability Skills
  • Building Stronger Communities

Grants of £2,021 are available for constituted community-based charities, third sector organisations, and sports clubs with an income of less than £75,000.
