Dear Food Cardiff Members,
Booking is officially open for the online Cardiff Good Food Summit on 22nd October from 9.30 – 3.30.
On Friday 22nd October, Food Cardiff will host the Good Food Summit to launch the new city-wide food strategy and 5 Good Food Goals, which have been developed with the support of over 2,500 people in the city.
The online Good Food Summit will feature the following three events:
9.30 – 11.00:
Thinking big: what is the future of food in Cardiff?
Introduced by Cllr Huw Thomas, Leader of Cardiff Council and featuring Jane Davidson, Carolyn Steel, Nirushan Sudarsan and Dee Woods.
12.30 – 1.15:
Food from Women Connect First (see note below)
Bring a bite and find out more about people and projects working on good food
2.00 – 3.30:
From words to action: making good food happen for Cardiff
This interactive gathering will create space for public dialogue around the future of food in Cardiff, building on other people’s assemblies on Food and Farming including Farm to Fforc. The session aims to enable collaboration and action from the ground up.

We couldn’t have a Good Food Summit without good food! We’ve teamed up with Women Connect First Wales World Café to deliver some delicious lunches. These are limited so will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Book here.
Note – the majority of the speakers will be using the medium of English, however simultaneous Welsh translation will be available during Session 1 and participants are very welcome to speak in Welsh throughout
