Deafblind UK Launches Connections Cymru Project Across Wales

Deafblind UK has launched a new four-year project across Wales, Connections Cymru, funded by the Wales National Lottery.
The project aims to support people with combined sight and hearing loss to feel more connected, informed, and included within their communities. Rolling out over the coming months, Connections Cymru will provide accessible social and wellbeing opportunities, digital inclusion support delivered by staff and trained volunteers, and the establishment of over 100 community-based information hubs across Wales. The project will also work with local organisations to improve accessibility and confidence in supporting people who are deafblind.
The project will be delivered across Wales, with dedicated project staff in South and North Wales, and is designed to leave a lasting legacy of improved inclusion and community connection.
Press releases are available in both Welsh and English, and partners are encouraged to share this opportunity within their networks.
For further information, collaboration opportunities, or referrals, please contact Deafblind UK or use the referral form here.
