Care’diff News – Winter 2025/26 Edition
The Winter 2025/26 edition of Care’diff News is now available. This issue provides updates on services, support and upcoming opportunities for unpaid carers across Cardiff. Service managers have also shared two important reminders:
  • Cardiff Carers Advice Line is currently seeing reduced daily utilisation (around 60%). Unpaid carers are encouraged to contact the service with any concerns, questions or wellbeing needs, even if they do not wish to request a formal carer needs assessment.
    02920 234 234 – Option 2.
  • Caring Friends, the Council’s volunteer-led befriending service for unpaid carers, has newly recruited volunteers available to offer support such as friendly phone calls, coffee meetups or light household assistance. Companionship calls will also be available over the festive period.
