C3SC has been leading on the Community Matters: Neurodiversity Pathways Project, supporting member organisations to engage with parents and carers of neurodivergent children to better understand and improve their journey through health services. The project is designed to strengthen the third sector’s role in improving support for neurodivergent children and their families, particularly those facing barriers when accessing clinical services. Building on this engagement, C3SC organised a members’ forum in September 2025 to provide third sector views on the Draft Neurodivergent Friendly Cardiff Strategy 2025 to 2026. The forum brought together Cardiff-based neuro-affirming third sector organisations and community groups to develop a collective representative response to the Neurodivergent Friendly Cardiff Draft Strategy, bringing the sector’s knowledge and the voices of people with lived experiences, in particular the views of people who are most often underrepresented, to the consultation.
