Supported Employment in Wales events

Influencing and Informing Engage to Change has organised three events to look into what is happening with supported employment in Wales. Full details about the events, including booking instructions, can be found below:

Knowing me, knowing you

Join us to share and listen to what’s happening with supported employment.

  • Cardiff, Future Inn: 11 June
  • Carmarthen, Halliwell Centre: 12 June
  • Lladnduno, Venue Cymru: 17 June

Influence and Informing Engage to Change is running “Knowing me, knowing you” events to bring together families, supported employment providers, young people who have been part of Engage to Change, and commissioners to talk and share ideas.

Family. If you have a young person with a learning disability, and or autism in your family:

  • Find out what employment support is available.
  • Say what support is needed.
  • Hear what young people from the project have to say about taking part.

Provider.

If you are a support provider:

  • Tell people about what support you offer.
  • Find out what else people need.

Commissioner.

If you commission services:

  • Find out what people really need.
  • Hear young people’s views about employment support and what works.
  • What is going on in your area and beyond.
