We are delighted to confirm C3SC has secured funding to deliver key pieces of work to further support the Third Sector and community groups in Cardiff:
- National Resources Wales (NRW) – will support us to help with improving knowledge of funding schemes available to connect people to nature and the environment by helping build skills and confidence in writing a successful funding bid through ‘How to write a successful application form’ sessions, as well as opportunities for collaborative working, networking, guidance, advice and support. - Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board (RPB) Continuous Engagement Programme – will involve undertaking a piece of work to develop and pilot a shared citizen Engagement Framework on behalf of the RPB, enhancing the Board’s capacity to work co-productively and bring in people’s voices to influence health and social care service planning and development. - Lloyds Foundation Infrastructure Fund – this funding will support us to work with members to adapt to the new environment – COVID-19 and recovery, Brexit, a likely recession – and strengthen our role in raising the voice and advocating for local charities, recognising the vital role the sector plays in championing fairness and inclusion. - Volunteering Recovery Grant – working with Cardiff Council, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, the Vale of Glamorgan Council and GVS, the grant is designed to help us co-produce a joint strategy to sustain volunteering and community action during the COVID-19 stages of recovery by improving and developing complementary volunteering support systems and arrangements across the Region.
