Equality and Human Rights Commission Wales Annual Human Rights Lecture: Migrants to Wales – What about Human Rights?

You’re invited to hear Reverend Aled Edwards deliver the EHRC 2016 human rights lecture.
The lecture will explore the experience of Asylum Seekers, Migrants and Refugees and the key human rights challenges for Wales.
There will be an opportunity to discuss:
- Is Wales really a welcoming country?
- What does respect and dignity mean in practice? Is Wales really a welcoming and tolerant country?
- How can we work together to protect and promote the human rights of Asylum Seekers, Migrants and Refugees
Reception and refreshments at 5.45pm
Lecture and Q&A with a panel 6.15pm – 7.30pm
Reverend Aled Edwards is Chief Executive of Cytun (Churches Together in Wales), secretary of the Interfaith Council for Wales and a member of the Commission’s Wales Committee.
