Victim Support is launching the All Wales Hate Crime Reporting and Support Centre and would like to invite interested organisations and individuals from across Wales to the launch.

If you would like to attend, please register your interest to nick.cooke@victimsupport.org.uk by the 30th April 2014, as the room will only hold 80 people. Your place will be confirmed by the 2nd May 2014.

The event will be launched by Cllr Hugh Jones of Wrexham the Lead Member for Communities, Partnerships & Collaboration, and will include presentations by Gerallt Evans  CPS North Wales Assistant District Crown Prosecutor and Chair of the Hate Crime Scrutiny Panels, further information and details will be sent out with the agendas. 

The third party hate crime reporting centre will enable victims and witnesses to report hate crime via a 24/7 phone, email and text service. Victims of hate crime will receive services through Victim Support’s network of highly trained volunteers who will provide face to face emotional and practical support, advocacy services and referral to other agencies.
