Visible Women: Empowering Girls and Women in WalesRedefining the Gender Agenda

African Mothers Foundation International (AMFI) is a woman-led, non-profit organisation based in Cardiff. AMFI brings communities in Britain and Sub-Saharan Africa together to work in partnership, to be the voice of the voiceless, to challenge gender disparity and to help end global poverty through educating girls and enabling them to become powerful agents of change within their families, communities and nations.

According to global statistics, just 39 percent of girls from developing countries attend secondary school while in Wales we have different issues. Join African Mothers Foundation International to celebrate International Women’s Day and discuss how to accelerate the gender agenda. This will be a fun-filled, informative and empowering event.
