Slepjan – a major Welsh concert is coming to Cardiff!

Wynford Ellis Owen (a.k.a Syr Wynff ap Concord y Bos), Chief Executive of the Living Room Cardiff, said, “The concert is going to be quite a night! The last time my alter ego and Plwmsan (Mici Plwm) were together on stage was at the Rhyl National Eisteddfod in 1985. All I remember from that night is the sound of laughter as we collapsed in giggles for no reason whatsoever followed soon after by the whole of the Pavilion – and that was that!

Wynford Ellis Owen, Chief Executive of Living Room Cardiff, will be on stage as Syr Wynff ap Concord y Bos, with his previous side-kick, Mici Plwm. Wynford said: “Syr Wynff’s trademark glasses, hat and coat are a little tighter than I remember but the spark between us will I’m sure be instantaneous. It is a great honour for both of us to be able to share the stage with such fantastic musicians and it promises to be a great gig.

“It is incredible to think a year has already passed since the Living Room Cardiff opened its doors for the first time. Slepjan! will not only be a celebration of what has been achieved to date, but also hopefully raise much needed funds to ensure the Living Room Cardiff can continue to go from strength to strength.“
