An online training session for new and existing Trustees in Cardiff to learn more about best practice in governance.

This training course will help new and existing Trustees improve their understanding of how best to run their groups and organisations.

The aims and objectives of the course are that attendees:

• Understand the key principles of governance
• Understand how trustees as a board are collectively responsible and accountable for ensuring that the organisation is well-run
• Understand the roles and responsibilities of the Board in good governance
• Be aware of good practice guidance in relation to governance

The event will take place on Teams and the link will be sent through the day prior to the event.

Participants are invited to bring their organisation’s governing document to the session, if available.

As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, well-resourced training, we have recently introduced a revised pricing structure for statutory and private sector attendees. This change enables us to sustain the standard of our programmes while continuing to offer free places to our members and to smaller third-sector organisations that depend on accessible learning opportunities.
