Getting On Board, the charity that promotes Trusteeships, is holding a seminar at the Wales Milliennium Centre in Cardiff Bay on Wednesday 17th June at 6pm.
The cost of tickets for the event is £10, but they are offering ten FREE places for members of C3SC and VCS.
Getting on Board is partnering with the Wales Council for Voluntary Action to host the seminar where you’ll learn about the role of a trustee and hear from well-known local charity leaders about their experiences of being a trustee. They’ll also cover:
• The personal and professional benefits of being a trustee
• The personal and professional benefits of being a trustee
• The responsibilities, time demands, liabilities
• What skills, attitudes and experience make a good board member
• What to do next; how to go about becoming a trustee
