If you are interested in supporting young people and volunteers and would like to participate in international exchanges, or if you have an organisation that is interested in collaborating with international partners, join the WCVA’s webinar to find out how Taith can help you.
The Welsh Government has recently launched its new Taith programme which will enable people in Wales to study, train, volunteer and work all over the world, while allowing organisations to invite international partners and learners to do the same here in Wales. The programme is open to learners, volunteers, and staff in education settings of all kinds, including youth organisations. In addition to participant mobility, the programme will also support international collaborative projects and capacity-building for international exchanges. Applications for participant mobility are now open until 12 May 2022.
Join the WCVA for a webinar in partnership with Taith, CWVYS, BGCW and WCIA to find out more about Taith, how your organisation can get involved, and the support available to you. You will also hear about Global STEPS which is a tool to help volunteers recognise, improve and communicate the range of skills they develop while volunteering abroad.
The webinar will take place on 13 April 2022, between 2-3 pm. Please click here to register.
