Unpaid Carers Short Breaks Small Grants Programme Round 2

Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC), working in partnership with The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board and GVS, will be administering a second round of the Short Breaks Grant Fund for Unpaid Carers.

The funding aims to support voluntary sector groups with service development and sustainability to help unpaid carers access information, advice and provision that will provide support with the cost of living, tackling loneliness and social isolation, taking breaks and other pressures. We know relatively small amounts of money can make a big difference to small scale community-based provision, and we are keen to support groups and organisations that can strengthen their existing provision or develop new services or activities that will enable more people with the responsibilities of being unpaid carers to access services.

How much can organisations apply for?

Organisations can apply for up to £10,000 under the Short Breaks programme. There is no minimum amount.

The fund will be open for applications from 26 June with a deadline for submission of 5pm on 10th July 2023.

Application forms and associated supporting material can be submitted electronically to enquiries@c3sc.org.uk

Applicants must use the application form provided and submit by the specified deadline. Please find the grant guidance and application form below.
