Unpaid Carers Short Breaks Grant Round 3: 2024-25

In partnership with the Cardiff and Vale Regional Planning Board and GVS, we are delighted to launch the third round of the Unpaid Carers Short Breaks Small Grants Scheme.
We want to hear from third sector organisations who can meaningfully reach a wide number of unpaid carers across Cardiff and the Vale. We are seeking bids that support the 12 key principles for short breaks as detailed in the  Carers Trust Road to Respite Report.
The grant scheme is open to third sector organisations across Cardiff and the Vale and closes 25th October  2024 with the expectation to run a programme of short breaks until 30th March 2025.

Please ensure the application stays true to ”what is a short break” and what matters to the individual.

C3SC will be running online drop-in sessions 17th October and 23rd October – details will be available on Eventbrite giving providers the opportunity to check in with us and discuss your project ideas, ask questions about what will be considered, and all other insights into the Short Breaks Programme.
