This full-day course is aimed at care assistants/support workers, supervisors and managers working in social care settings. It will provide course participants with a basic understanding of medicines and the safety involved in the administration of medication to clients. This course is not suitable for staff in nursing roles.
The training sessions are one-day long and will run from 9:30am until 4:30pm at Cardiff Metropolitan University (previously UWIC) in Cyncoed on each of the following dates (Participants need only attend one session):

Please note: Training courses run by Cardiff Council are now only accessible via the ‘Cardiff Council Academy Online on Learning Pool’. Each course participant must have an account on the site in order to make a booking and as managerial authorisation is required for each course booking, a line manager or training co-ordinator within your organisation must also have an account.
