Steps to Progress Training being offered by the Wallich

Steps to Progress is a 10-week program designed to help individuals build confidence, set goals, and improve their communication skills. To join the course an individual needs to be over 18, out of work/education, and have some experience of homelessness. Courses are available in Cardiff, Newport, The Vale, and Swansea, and they begin in the second week of January 2025. Participants must be referred by a support worker and will have a one-on-one meeting with a course leader before the program starts. Please note that the definition of homelessness is wide and varied, including sofa-surfers, prison leavers, care leavers, people who are now housed but have been homeless and people in temporary accommodation.
