Renting Homes Act Workshop with Tai Pawb and Welsh Government

Tai Pawb has teamed up with colleagues at the Welsh Government to host a workshop aimed at ensuring communication and messaging on the Renting Homes Act matches the diversity of the Welsh population.

The Renting Homes Act is the biggest legislative housing change in Wales for decades. The Act comes into force on 15 July 2022 with a transitional period of up to six months for landlords to fully implement the changes. If the Act is to have a positive impact, then landlords and tenants (soon to be ‘contract holders’) will need to have an awareness and understanding of what is changing; making sure that communication and messaging is adaptable and reaches everybody affected is critical.

They are inviting people to a short workshop to help shape the Welsh Government’s communication and messaging plans to ensure they are as accessible as possible across the diverse make-up of Wales. The workshop will be a gathering of a number of equality-based organisations with specialist expertise – your input is vital and valued.

Please join Tai Pawb online on April 5th between 1:30-3:00pm. To sign up, email David Rowlands, Policy Manager at Tai Pawb, David@TaiPawb.org.
