Prince’s Trust are working with a new exciting delivery partner; Arco Training. ARC Training Co (ARCo) are South Wales’ leading independent training companies specialising in the Construction, Manufacturing, Industrial and Occupational H&S Sectors. Their service aims to be a full professional training solution to Local Authorities, SME’s, Local, National & Blue Chip Companies.
The Taster day is Wednesday 23rd of October
If successful on Taster day, the programme will start the following week Monday 28th October – Friday 1st of November. **MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR FULL 5 DAYS**
On completion of the full week the young people will gain a variety of qualifications to get them work ready into the world of construction.
Here are the qualifications below;
– Level 1 Health and safety in Construction
– CSCS Card and preparation for exam
– Level 2 Manual Handling
– Abrasive wheels training
– Asbestos awareness training
– Working at height and harness safety awareness training
– Level 3 in Emergency First Aid
Upon completion they will be provided with kit including; Hard hat, high vis and boots.
Spaces are limited to 12 for the programme and we are expecting up to 25 on the Taster day. Criminal records accepted but must be disclosed before and assessed on a case by case basis. Age is 18-30.
