We are pleased to announce the return of the Cardiff Volunteer Awards 2024. Now in its sixth year, the annual event organised by Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) will showcase and celebrate the extraordinary contributions of our diverse volunteering community and the positive differences they have made to so many people’s lives. It is an opportunity to come together to say thank you to everyone in our society who contributes selflessly through volunteering to help others.

Following the huge success of last year’s event, which was attended by over 200 people, this year’s ceremony is again sponsored by Wales & West Housing and supported by Wates, The Open University in Wales, VividBlock, Monmouthshire Building Society, United Welsh, Cardiff and Vale College, Lovell and CentreGreat, and will be held in person at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff, CF10 5AL and online via Zoom. The event will take place from 3:30pm on 11 November 2024 – in the same week as World Kindness Day.

Sheila Hendrickson-Brown, CEO at C3SC said, “The Volunteer Awards provide a great opportunity to thank our fabulous volunteer community in Cardiff.  Volunteers are a vital part of many of the services we rely on, and we are grateful to our sponsors and supporters as we recognise individuals and voluntary groups for their work delivering support in our communities over the past 12 months.

The awards ceremony will begin with lunch and networking, including the opportunity to meet all our nominees, followed by the announcement of nominations and winners across ten categories that highlight and celebrate the magnificent efforts made by volunteers in supporting our local communities.
