The Out of Work Peer Mentoring Service offers one-to-one support as you find your way back into work, delivered by peer mentors who understand the challenges you’re facing. They can work with you to find the volunteering, training or employment opportunities you need.
They’ll talk with you about your goals, and work with you on a plan to achieve them. They’ll meet you in your community and provide information, advice and guidance in confidence to support you on your way back into work.
Is this for me? It’s for people who have experienced mental health challenges – like anxiety or depression – or who are in recovery from alcohol or substance use.
It’s available if:
- Over 25: You’ve been unemployed for more than 12 months, or are receiving ESA or Universal Credit
- 16–24: You’re not in education, employment or training.
“The past couple of years has been really tough for everyone and as restrictions are reducing, we would welcome any opportunity to come and speak to you about our services and how we can help the people you are working with.”
