Outstanding Community Volunteer Award – Glenys Taylor

We would like to highlight Glenys Taylor for winning the Outstanding Community Volunteer Award at the Cardiff Volunteer Awards 2021.

At 78 years old Glenys has made an incredible impact volunteering at City Hospice, read below to find out more on why she won:

Glenys is our Volunteer Team Leader and runs all aspects of our Whitchurch Store. Glenys ensures daily operations are maintained, she always looks out for our team of volunteers and provides everyone that enters our store with the most amazing customer service. Glenys goes over and above everything that we ask her. She dedicates her life to our retail service, regularly volunteering an entire 5 days a week. Glenys works every single weekend and where she’s able to, she will also squeeze in a bucket collection helping to raise even more vital funds for our charity. Glenys also regularly helps to support our events and helps raise vital funds at the City Hospice Whitchurch store
