Local Government and Elections (Wales) Bill

The Minister for Housing and Local Government introduced the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Bill on 18 November.

Welsh Government’s Local Government team would be pleased to provide a technical briefing to the WCVA and members of the Housing and Local Government Planning Group if they wished for one on the content of the Bill

We will hold the briefing from 9.30 to 10.30 on Wednesday 4 December in Cathays Park. Apologies for the short notice but we are arranging a number of technical briefings whilst supporting the Minister through the Committee stage of the Bill’s passage so dates are limited and we are trying to brief everyone prior to Christmas where possible.  If this date is impossible for the majority then we will seek an alternative.

We would be grateful for advice on any particular areas colleagues would like to cover so we can ensure we field the appropriate policy leads.

Please provide names of those attending to [email protected]
