Note from new Welsh Language Commissioner

Dim ond nodyn byr i gyflwyno fy hun i chi ar gychwyn fy swydd fel Comisiynydd y Gymraeg.  Mae’n bleser gennyf gymryd yr awenau gan Meri Huws ar ôl ei gwaith diwyd a diflino dros y saith mlynedd diwethaf.

Mae tîm o swyddogion profiadol yn gweithio i Gomisiynydd y Gymraeg a bydd eu gwaith hwy gyda chi yn parhau fel arfer.  Gallwch gysylltu yn uniongyrchol gyda’r Tîm Hybu trwy e-bostio hybu@comisiynyddygymraeg.cymru.

Bwriadaf gynnal amryw o gyfarfodydd yn ystod fy nghyfnod cynnar; yn siarad, trafod a gwrando ar ystod eang o randdeiliaid a’r cyhoedd.

Rydw i hefyd yn fwy na pharod i gyfarfod â chi i drafod unrhyw faterion neu broblemau penodol – gallwch gysylltu â mi trwy e-bostio cerian.davies@comisiynyddygymraeg.cymru / 0345 6033 221.

Fy mwriad yw datblygu ar y gwaith sydd wedi ei gyflawni eisoes er mwyn sicrhau fod gan bawb yr hawl a’r cyfle i weld, clywed a siarad Cymraeg yn ystod eu bywydau bob dydd.

Gan edrych ymlaen i gydweithio efo chi yn y dyfodol.

Aled Roberts

Comisiynydd y Gymraeg

Just a quick note to introduce myself as I start my job as the Welsh Language Commissioner.  It is a pleasure to take over from Meri Huws after her dedicated work over the last seven years.

We have a team of experienced officers working for the Welsh Language Commissioner and their work with you will continue as usual.  You can contact the Hybu team directly by emailing hybu@welshlanguagecommissioner.wales

I intend to hold numerous meetings during my first few months; speaking, discussing and listening to various stakeholders and the public.

I am also more than happy to meet with you to discuss any particular matters or issues – you can contact me by emailing cerian.davies@welshlanguagecommissioner.wales / 0345 6033 221.

I intend to expand on the work that has been done over the years to ensure that everyone has the right and the opportunity to see, hear and speak Welsh during their everyday life.

Looking forward to working with you in the future

Aled Roberts
